US General cargo trailer

1/72 scale kit printed in 3D in resin, printed in high quality. Requires assembly and painting.

The kit includes trailer and payload.

This trailer had a fixed axle with 2 wheels and could carry up to ¼ ton of payload. It was designed to be towed by a Jeep.

Its official name was "Trailer, ¼-ton, 2-wheel, Cargo, Amphibian". More than 150,000 units were built during WWII by different companies such as Batam or Willys-Overland.

For larger vehicles like GMC trucks or half-tracks the army used a similar but larger version of this trailer, known as 1-ton trailer or Ben Hur trailer.
