M4 HST (High Speed Tractor)

1/72 scale kit 3D printed in resin, printed at high quality. Requires assembly and painting.

The M4 (HST) “high-speed tractor” was based on the running gear of the old M2 tank, which made it easy to develop and maintain.

It was a tracked vehicle for towing artillery pieces. Weighing 14 tons, it mounted a Waukesha 6-cylinder gasoline engine with 210 hp, which provide it a maximum speed of 33 mph (53 Km/h) and a range of 180 m (290 km).

Its cabin was designed to transport the artillery piece servers and also had a rear compartment for ammunition.

A common configuration was towing a 155mm M115 howitzer.
