The Dodge company designed and produced several vehicles for the US Army during World War II.

The WC series (also known as “Beeps”) standed out, and among them the WC-51, a ¾ ton 4-wheel drive light truck that was designed in 1941 and entered service in 1942. The WC-51 participated in different operations theaters.
