The Horch 108 type 1a was one of the answers of German industry to the Wehrmacht's need for an all-terrain vehicle for personnel transport and even as a light artillery tractor. The most characteristic feature of this vehicle was the inclusion of spare wheels on both sides. It was a widely used vehicle in all theaters of operations.
