The Schwerer Zugkraftwagen 18 t or SdKfz 9, also known as "FAMO", was the heaviest half-track vehicle used by the Wehrmacht. It was originally designed as a heavy artillery tractor, but saw many more uses during WWII

Its design was started in 1936 by the Fahrzeug und Motoren-Werke GmbH company from designs of the Military Automobile Department (Waffenprüfämte 6) from 1933. After several prototypes, final development began mass production in 1939.

Powered by a Maybach HL 98 V12 gasoline engine that provided 200 hp.

It was used on all fronts of war in numerous types of uses.
